Namely, some of the best restaurants in Halls Gap from my experience are Spirit of Punjab and Livefast Cafe.

Importantly, please keep in mind that bookings may be necessary during peak times. We visited Halls Gap during the off-season, and most restaurants and cafes were full.

Spirit of Punjab

Discover enticing Indian cuisine at Spirit of Punjab. This lovely Halls Gap restaurant is ideal for large groups as the dining space offers plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Also, the food is delicious and rich in flavour. Moreover, the restaurant offers generous servings, and the service is fast and friendly.

We ordered our meal of saffron rice, garlic naan, navarattan korma and mutter tofu (pictured below). They are inclusive and provide plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

In addition, they have a license to serve alcohol; you can enjoy a refreshing beverage with your meal.

Not to mention, there are over 1,600 reviews on Google, and the average rating is 4.4 stars out of 5.

Halls Gap Hotel Restaurant

For a classic pub experience, stop in at the Halls Gap Hotel Restaurant for a satiating meal. Also, enjoy the setting of the eatery, in the stunning location with views of the Grampians ranges.

The warm indoor environment of the restaurant also accompanies a terrific outdoor seating space, great for a Sunday afternoon.

This eatery is one of the most popular restaurants in Halls Gap as they offer a diverse menu enjoyable for everyone.

For example, take your pick of pizzas, pasta, steaks and salads or enjoy fish and chips or a chicken parmigiana. Moreover, there are a few vegetarian and vegan options available.

Halls Gap Bakery

Pick up a loaf of bread, some rolls or a pastry for lunch from the Halls Gap Bakery. In addition, the bakery makes the products fresh daily and, they are open from 7 AM – 5 PM every day.

Moreover, the prices are reasonable, making it a perfect spot for some family takeaway lunch.

Halls Gap Bakery has won awards for its vanilla slices and pastries, therefore proving the quality of its product. I recommend trying the vanilla slice.

Flame Brothers Restaurants & Bar

Flame Brothers Restaurant and Bar offer an extensive menu full of dine-in and takeaway options everyone will love. Also, they have many positive reviews on Google, making them one of the most popular restaurants in Halls Gap.

The beautiful architectural design of the restaurant is nestled in amongst the trees along Stoney Creek. Not to mention, they have plenty of delicious breakfast takeaway options.

Try the delightful wood-fired pizzas, burgers and yummy sides that are on offer.

Also, this smokehouse has plenty of options available for vegetarians and vegans, many of which are exceptional.

Livefast Cafe

Relish in a delightful meal at the Livefast Cafe. Unique breakfast options are abundant.

Moreover, visit this Halls Gap cafe for exceptional service and enjoy your meal in a cosy cafe environment.

During your visit, be sure to check the notice board inside for the daily specials available.

If you appreciate beautifully presented food, you will love Livefast Cafe. I chose the pumpkin pie pancakes, which were divine. Livefast Cafe has easily become one of my favourite restaurants in Halls Gap.

Raccolto Pizzeria

Take your pick of pizza, parmigiana or a crisp salad at Raccolto Pizzeria. This pizzeria is one of the most popular restaurants in Halls Gap, offering inviting meals.

However, if you decide not to dine in, there are takeaway options available, and the experience is just as great!

Halls Gap Tavern

Stop in at the Halls Gap Tavern after a day of adventuring for a satisfying meal. Or, if you’d prefer to enjoy your meal in your comfort, there are takeaway options available too.

Of course, there are specials on offer from Thursday to Monday. Also, don’t forget to check out the happy hour specials for a bargain!

Moreover, enjoy all-day breakfast, baked goods, wraps, burgers and other classic Australian meals. The all-day breakfast is perfect for enjoying after an early start to the day.

Black Panther Cafe Bar

Situated in a prime location is the Black Panther Cafe Bar. Start your day off with a substantial and delicious breakfast at this lovely cafe.

Moreover, the generous portion sizes have a neat presentation and come with cheerful service.

However, if you’re visiting this Halls Gap restaurant for dinner, try one of the pizzas they load with tasty toppings.

The all-time favourite Halls Gap Ice cream parlour known as Coola’s Creamery is the perfect way to treat yourself on a warm day.

Decide from the 33 flavours on offer, some of which are gluten and dairy-free. Also, I would recommend having your frozen dessert served in one of the homemade waffle cones.

Alternatively, they also have a variety of hot food and hot and cold drinks on offer. Be sure to indulge and treat yourself.

Halls Gap has some of the best restaurants on offer for a regional town in Victoria. There are plenty of cuisines to try, and there is something available for everyone.
