The pub crawl tends to run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. However, please take note that this is subject to change and Thai public holidays or staff availabilities may affect these dates.
How Much Does It Cost and What Do You Get?
The admission fee at the time of writing is 580 Thai Baht. Moreover, this includes a free tank top that you will wear on the night out, free shots, a free bucket, a cabaret show, and drink specials at all of the bars.
Besides, the entertainment for the night out is absolutely worth the experience and it is the ultimate way to meet people on the island!
Additionally, you will get a handful of discounts for use at other locations on the island. Discounts vary during the year, but may include paddleboard hire, free ice cream, discounts at bars and tour companies.

How Do I Join the Koh Tao Pub Crawl?
You’ve probably discovered this pub crawl from one of the volunteers wandering the beaches and streets of Koh Tao. They would’ve handed you a flyer and encouraged you to come join them for a night of fun on the pub crawl.
If you haven’t come across one of these volunteers, you can still join in on the fun! Simply head to AC Beach bar from 6 PM to sign up and get your place on the crawl. Keep in mind, sometimes the crawl has over 150 people, and they can only take a limited amount. So be sure to save yourself a spot and get in early!
Why Should I Go on the Pub Crawl?
The Koh Tao Pub Crawl is an excellent way to make friends and enjoy a night filled with fun and entertainment. You will meet heaps of travellers from all over the world and experience a true night out on Koh Tao.
Tips for Joining the Pub Crawl
- Get in early to avoid missing out and sign up at 6 PM!
- Keep your tank top on you or tied to you as this your entry to the pub crawl
- Eat dinner or some food before the pub crawl as it is a long night. And, it might be best to bring a bottle of water along to stay hydrated!
- Bring plenty of cash to buy drinks at the bars
- There is absolutely no need to drink and drive on the pub crawl. Most accommodations are within walking distance of the starting and finishing location, so you can easily walk home after a night of boozy fun. So, leave your scooter or motorbike at your accommodation and get around on foot!
- Alternatively, there are some bike taxis in the area, so you can pick up a lift home if you’re too tired to walk!
Koh Tao Pub Crawl
AC Beach Bar
The night begins at AC Beach Bar. Moreover, this is where you will purchase your ticket to the Koh Tao Pub Crawl and where you will meet for first drinks. You will need to arrive at this bar around 7:45 PM.
Upon arrival, staff will greet you and you will get a bucket of your choice of alcohol. Besides, this is a great way to meet people and make some friends before the night begins. A staff member will come around and write your name on your arm so that everyone remembers each others names easily!
You’ll get to have a couple of shots and then staff will give you a quick breakdown of the night with an announcement. They’ll bring up some drinking games that’ll be played throughout the night and the fun will begin!
After about 45 minutes, the pub crawl begins and you will be off to the next location.
The Queens Cabaret
The Queens Cabaret is the ultimate Thai drag show with incredible performers and prizes on offer. Firstly, the show will start with a few members of the audience doing a dance off. And, whoever shows off the best moves will receive a prize.
Then, the real show begins with the incredible performers. Moreover, they are energetic, dramatic and entertaining; A whole lot of fun!
Enjoy the show while sipping on your bucket and then get ready to head to the next location!

Lotus Beach Bar
Next on the Koh Tao Pub Crawl is Lotus Beach Bar. Not to mention, this is likely one of my favourite spots on the pub crawl as you will get to enjoy a fire show on the beach, paint yourself in UV body paint and party on the beach!
The fire show is absolutely insane and these performers really know what they’re doing. Don’t forget to give them a tip when they come around to show your appreciation!
Diza Bar
After the fire show, you’ll make your way to Diza Bar. And, this is another great spot on the pub crawl. Firstly, feel free to take part in beer pong and verse your opponent who you’ve just made friends with on the crawl. Or, take to the dancing floor to show off your moves.
Once the party has kicked off, there will usually be some live singing from David, an Aussie bloke who runs the pub crawl. He puts on a fantastic show for everyone and plays some all-time classic hits. This is the perfect time to wrap your arms around eachother and sing as loud as you can!
Fishbowl Bar
The last location of the night is fishbowl bar. And, this is one of Koh Taos best bars. There is a large dancing area with multiple levels, places to play beer pong, and you can head onto the beach and sit on the swings.
There will be a lot of loud music and dancing at this final location and then the pub crawl has finished. Feel free to stay until the bar closes and then load up on some tasty noodles at the local convenience store.
